There are many
schemes running by the Horticulture Department,
Haryana in Distt Kaithal, in the year 2008-2009.
1.
Distribution of Fruit Plant:
Under this scheme the farmer
who has minimum one acre land the plants
of Guava, Aonla, Ber, Litchi, Peer/Peach
by the department on free of cost. The scheme
is running in action by the farmer with
full technique by the department. 50 hectare
Guava, 20 hectare Aonla & 10 hectare
Ber & 18 hectare Mixed Garden target
given the department in the year of 2008-09.
Rs. 2,22,100/- (Two lac Twenty Two Thousand
One Hundred only) subsidy given by the Government.
Under Integrated Horticulture Development
Plan Scheme the plants of Guava, Lemon,
Ber & Aonla are distributed to the Schedule
Caste Farmer in 3.8 hectare. Rs. 57270/-
(Fifty Seven Thousand Two Hundred Seventy
only) subsidy given by the Government.
2.
Bio Farming:
To promote this scheme 2,50,000/- (Two Lac
Fifty Thousand only) subsidy given on 25
hectare land & for Vermiculture Production
Unit 30,000/- per unit in the group of 20
farmers total subsidy given to the farmer
6,00,000/- (Six Lac only) & its Certification
Fees Rs. 3,00,000/- (Rs. Three Lac only).
The fees of the certificate of Bio Product
to the institution by the department.
3.
Vegitable Spice Demonstration Plot:
In the year of 2008-09 the farmer of schedule
caste take subsidy Rs. 30,200/- (Thirty
Thousand Two Hundred only) for vegitable
& Spice Demonstration Plot. The crops
of Chilly and Bhindi are in this scheme.
4.
Drip Irrigation & Sprinkler Irrigation
System:
In this year the target
is 50 hectare area in drip irrigation system
& 20 hectare sprinkler system for the
agriculture crops. In this scheme 50% subsidy
given to the farmer.
5.
Training Programme:
The training of horticultural
crops given to farmer by Horticultural Training
Institute Uchani (Karnal). In this training
there are some different training programme.
The arrangement of Food & Lodging for
the farmer by the Department.
Horticulture Department, Kaithal arrange
field days on the farmer’s fields
time to time. Where farmers got horticultural
information.
